We have multiple BLUNT workshops across the globe to repair our products. We aim to scale and decentralise repairs by expanding our in-house workshops, as well as encouraging customers to do their own repairs at home. Our vision is to save waste from going to landfill whilst saving you money.

Founded in 2011, our brand emerged as a result of Ella's love for design and the written word. Drawing on experience from her 13-year journey in the world of magazines, notably her time at VOGUE Australia as the art director. Ella blends art and commerce to create a brand that is boutique with wide appeal.
At the heart of our style-led greeting card brand is our commitment to high quality and every detail. It's woven into the fabric of our brand's identity, from the paper we select to the refinement in design. Our range can be found throughout giftware and lifestyle retailers around Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
Our stationery is meticulously designed by our founder and printed on a traditional print press in Australia on FSC or PEFC certified paper.

Handed By is the leading brand in handmade woven baskets, bags and home accessories and we are driven by the notion of creating a better world.
We are a product developer, designer, manufacturer and wholesaler, all in one. Our home base is an office and warehouse with a design studio and showroom in IJsselstein (the Netherlands).
Handed By design is recognisable by the unique trademark stamp in the form of a handprint. Everything we put our hands to is manufactured ethically and is guaranteed 100% free of child labour.
The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is an industry-driven movement that aims to monitor and assess workplace standards across the global supply chain. Aamfori BSCI audit helps a business monitor its supply chain to ensure that all suppliers are treating workers ethically and legally.
Most handcrafters earn a living in the rice fields in the country, or around the small farms with their cattle, poultry and fruit cultivation. They live in one house with their children, parents and grandparents. Once they have finished work in the fields, the mothers and grandmothers weave the baskets. When the baskets are finished, they are taken back to the village. There the baskets are inspected, cleaned and finished at a central site. They are then transported to the central warehouse in the city, where they are packed and shipped to The Netherlands.
The Handed By products are giving used-plastics a second chance. We recycle industrial plastic waste into strap material, to create new Handed By bags and basket collections. Waste that would otherwise be thrown away and released into the environment with all its consequences. The plastic waste is used as a base granulate, the basic material for every product. By using the recycled plastic, we slow down the process of running out of natural resources of the earth.

Cambodia is one of the largest producers of fashion goods in the world but workers’ conditions are often harsh and unsafe. That is why at Smateria we are deeply committed to providing a positive work environment as everyone deserves a decent life.
Nylon net is a multipurpose material mainly used for fishing or in the construction field. In Phnom Penh we are surrounded by this material. It was such an inspiration that we decided to repurpose it and make it our signature material. We love to play with the different colours and layer them to obtain endless combinations of colours and textures.
Using Smateria’s new fabric, the IKI line comprises articles of function and fashion that not only catch the eye but are also water-resistant, lightweight, extremely strong, altogether user-friendly and vegan.Our in-house plastic recycled fabric is used for the exterior of each fashion item. For the interior lining, we have used rPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate) – a material made from plastic bottles.
Smateria has always been about doing things the right way, ethically and sustainably. So, we decided to take the next step and get WFTO certified. After months of paperwork and preparation, we were stoked to welcome a WFTO auditor to our workshop and stores. They verified everything we do, from how we make our products to how we treat our team. A few months later, we got the amazing news: Smateria is officially WFTO certified! This is a big deal for us and shows our commitment to making a positive impact..
