Washed Leather

For styles designed to feel broken-in, expressive and rich in character, we use a specialised washing process that transforms the surface of the leather, not just its softness. After tanning, the leather is carefully washed with water and conditioning agents in controlled cycles, gently distressing the top layer to create subtle highs and lows in colour, a slightly matte worn-in finish and natural variation across the surface. The result is a vintage look from day one, as though each piece has already travelled with you. As the process interacts uniquely with the leather’s finish, no two bags will have the exact same tone or markings, making this technique ideal for designs where personality matters more than polish.
Woven Leather

Our woven leather technique is built to celebrate craftsmanship, detail and texture. Each panel begins with full-grain leather, carefully cut into uniform strips before being interlaced by hand to create a rich, tactile surface with natural depth. This process requires precise alignment and tension control to ensure the weave remains durable while maintaining a refined finish; too tight and the leather loses flexibility, too loose and the structure weakens. Unlike a surface detail, the woven pattern is physically constructed into the bag, creating a structured yet flexible finish. Woven sections are often backed or reinforced internally to help the bag hold its shape over time while still allowing natural movement across the surface.
